Sherry Kay Designers: Rings

I came across Sherry Kay Designers after seeing one of her gorgeous rings on Etsy.com. Sherry Kay Designs is handcrafted jewelry; such as "wire-wrapped rings, modern chain necklaces, and unique beaded necklaces and bracelets."And the best part- all for a very low price! This "Sea Glass Ring" wrapped with gold wire, is absolutely gorgeous in its simplicity.  I am in love with the gentle sea glass texture with bold color, as well as the unique style of the gold wrapped wire. With plenty colors to choose from, this $14 ring should be in everybody's jewelry box!

  

"Sea Glass Ring" with a opaque blue opal wrapped with brass wire. Again, another gorgeous, simple ring- with a fabulous color! 

  

"White Pearl Ring" wrapped with ivory cream gold wire. Absolutely gorgeous. I love the combination of pearl with gold- absolutely stunning ring- unique and elegant. 

  

"Black Glass Ring" wrapped with fancy silver wire. I am absolutely in love with this ring! I love the black glass- a different approach with the diamond cut black stone, with the addition of a unique silver wrapping makes this ring fabulous!

  

  

"Statement Ring" with wire wrapped jewelry comes in red, gold, silver and champagne. I love the combonation of three jewels (depending on which ring, may be either a pearl, rhinestone or crystal) with the larger in the middle, complimented with two smaller ones on each side. I also love the contrast of sparkle & glitter to crystal/pearl/rhinestone. The finishing touch of wire wrapping makes these rings unique and simply elegant. 

Fall Jackets by ASOS

"Blazer With All Over Sequins" from ASOS.com. I am in love with this blazer for this fall. The fit of this jacket, crew neckline and open front, makes it very comfortable and casual to wear- while the sequin gives it the character to be used to dress up! This jacket is made of light material, so perfect for the next upcoming months to throw something on without becoming too hot. Would go great with some skinny jeans and pumps this fall. 

"Peplum Frill Jacket" from ASOS.com. This cotton fitted jacket with a frilled waistline is a perfect match to your fall skinny jeans. The form fitting style, with round neckline and concealed front fastening makes this almost a jacket in disguise. I love the casual color and material, paired with the not-so-casual style of this jacket. Absolutely adorable!

"Selected Gabbi Leather Jacket with Woven Panel Detail" from ASOS.com is a fantastic twist on the leather jacket. I am in love with the funnel neckline and asymmetrical zipper, as well as the contrasting back panel made with jersey-fabric and wrap-to-style hemline. This is a great fall leather jacket! Unique, casual, "punky", and very, very cute!

Your typical "Boyfriend Blazer" from ASOS.com is without a doubt a must-have for this fall season. Dress it up or play it down, you can wear this to work, to lunch, or out for a night on the town. This particular boyfriend blazer is also available in navy- however, it looks fabulous in almost any color! 

"Gray Long Faux Fur Gilet" from ASOS.com. I said it last fall, and I'll say it again this year- I am absolutely in love with the long faux fur vests!! Great to throw over a fall long sleeve shirt (both casual or more dressy) and pair with a great pair of leggings or skinny jeans and some boots or pumps! Very versatile, and very chic. 

"Warehouse Geo Print Blazer" from ASOS.com. This lightweight blazer, with button cuffs and front pockets is a fun, and casual blazer to pair with your outfit. The blazer has been cut for regular fit, so it is still loose but slightly more form fitting than the boyfriend style blazer. I love the grey with tan and navy patterns- Great jacket! 

Kara Earrings

"Kara Earrings" from oBaz.com. Mint green teardrops are set in ornate plated gold with a post backing. Great vintage look- simple and classic. Great accessory to have!

Back To School: Backpack Season

"Alameda Embellished Backpack" from Free People. This dark leather backpack with embellished pockets and zippers is a unique backpack to impress all during this back-to-school month. Fun, trendy, and original- this backpack comes with two pockets, and a laptop padded pouch. 

"Not your Elementary school backpack" by Urban Outfitters comes in grey, mint, and also in pink. The tan leather and lace detail makes this a gorgeous backpack for this fall!  

"Walking Day Trip Backpack" from Modcloth.com. I love the grey and white stripes mixed with the camel-brown leather- and with two pockets and a water proof interior- this bag is both cute and convenient! 

"Herschel Supply The Heritage" available in multiple colors from karmaloop.com. Love the simplicity of this bag, with the bright colors going up against the camel-brown faux leather. Big zipper pouch in the front makes this bag convenient as well! 

Bobbles & Lace: Accessories

I came across this small boutique, Bobbles and Lace, one Spring afternoon as I was walking down Newbury Street in Boston. I absolutely fell in love with the place. I originally went into Bobbles and Lace in desperation to find a last minute gift- which then resulted in me purchasing multiple products from this store for myself instead. But I couldn't help it. The moment I walked in I wanted everything to be mine. From the tops, jackets, bottoms, shoes, sunglasses and last but not least- jewelry; I was hooked. Not to mention the reasonable prices, especially for a Newbury Street location! Finigan's Fundamentals has gathered some of it's favorite pieces to share- but make sure to check out their website, and whenever you're in the Boston area- their store! 

"Brushed Gold Hammered Chest-plate Necklace" and "Favorite Chest-plate Necklace"

I absolutely love these pieces- nothing like a big piece of jewelry to spruce up any outfit. The first piece, the "brushed gold hammered chest-plate necklace" is the perfect accessory to make a bold statement to a simple outfit. The second necklace, the "favorite chest-plate necklace" has the same design as the first one- yet is made of mixed metals, bringing in that turquoise look. This necklace is also reversible, giving you a "plain dirty gold" option. 

 

One of the things that really caught my eye, was the boutique's ability to turn bright colors and unusual shapes into an amazing piece of jewelry that could be worn for multiple occasions. The "Enamel Necklace" (on the left) and the "Enamel Chest-plate Necklace" (on the right) are some of my favorite "funky" and colorful necklaces for this fall. The colors have faded from the neon's of the summer, but still manage to give the pop any fall outfit could need. They also are well accented by the gold linking. 

Bobble and Lace's "Two Tone Cheetah Print Scarf" (also available in other color varieties) is one of my favorite. I love how the cheetah print is subtle and the color tones are soft, a much different approach than the bold cheetah prints often seen elsewhere. Great fall tones for this season! 

"Skull Clutch with Gold Font Studs" is a hard case clutch that will go great for those nights out on the town. A classic look with a punk-like twist makes this both elegant and trendy. A hard-shell clutch is this seasons must have!

Sweater Season!

This is one of my favorites. The "Biege Long Sleeve Geometric Eyelet Embellished Knit Jumper Sweater" from SheInside.com is loose and casual for any cozy fall outfit. The geometric patterns give this sweater character. 

"Stripes Loose Sweater with Pocket", also from SheInside.com, comes in a variety of colors, all with a larger pocket on the right with a leather trim. The large stripes and the oversized style allow this sweater to be flattering, comfortable, and fashionable all at the same time. Would pair great with a pair of skinny jeans or leggings and a pair of fall boots!

"Khaki Long Sleeve Asymmetrical Cardigan Sweater" is a comfortable cardigan to throw over any outfit to keep warm and still look good. I love the loose, asymmetrical style mixed with the Aztec designs- great sweater to pair with riding boots. This sweater is from SheInside.com.

This sweater is yet another of my favorites, the "Multi Three-Quarter/Long Sleeve Top- Bat Sleeve Striped Sweater" is a fun spin on rolling the colors of the Summer right into Fall. The mint contrasting with the black and white stripes makes this sweater fun and unique. I am also a huge fan of the "bat sleeve". This sweater can be found on ustrendy.com.

This "Off-white Sweater-Round Neck Bat Sleeve Beige", found on ustrendy.com, is a thicker sweater to keep you cozy this season as the temperatures begin to drop. The casual style makes it perfect to pair up with some leggings and lounge around the house, or you can throw on some boots and turn it into a fabulous fall day outfit. This sweater, too, has "bat sleeves" giving the ordinary sweater, some character.
