Esther Boutique has been a reoccurring feature in the many of the Finigan Fundamental's blog posts, and is without a doubt one of our favorite places to find amazing cocktail dresses, along with many other pieces such as fabulous blazers, shirts, and pants! Love, love, love this dress! Esther Boutique's "Walk On By" cocktail dress, is a fabulous wear for a winter wedding or a new years party (it's never too early to start planning that perfect outfit!). For $69 AUD  this black and bronze sequin dress is amazing. Great geometric cut neckline, low back-line, and sexy yet appropriate length makes it impossible to "walk on by" this dress. "Broken Hearted Stud" cocktail dress for $69 AUD is  a great dress for a night out. Whether it's out for a cocktail party or for a night out on the town, the plunging sweetheart neckline and studded detail will be sure to turn heads. (Also available in white)

Love the high neckline, the sequin and polyester fabrics (with just the perfect amount of sequin detail), and the partially open button down back- This is a fabulous dress for multiple occasions! "Pace Day" dress for $69 AUD. The sheer cut out detail and racer back makes this dress one of my favorites. The mixture of casual and uniqueness will make you stand out wherever you are in this fabulous dress! Perfect with some great pumps and bright clutch. (Also available in white)

 

"Shelley Cocktail Dress" for $79 AUD. Made with stretch cotton material, this dress is both simple and sexy. We are a huge fan of the low cut neck line- the thin slit makes it very sexy while still maintaining an appropriateness that allows you to wear it for any occasion. (Also available in coral)

 

"Beautiful Heart Maxi Dress" for $79 AUD. While it may not necessarily fall under "little" black dress- we just couldn't let this one get skipped over. We are huge fans of the maxi look, and we fell in love with this one! The high lace detailed neckline, with the continuation to the back, the sheer bottom, and the loose fall of the dress all the way to the floor, makes this absolutely stunning. While it is sleeveless, a cute jacket would make this dress smoothly transition into the fall season!

Three Bird Nest: Headbands & Wraps

I have become obsessed with oversized headbands/wraps. They are a great accessory, and an even better way to fix a bad hair day compared to throwing up a pony-tail or putting on a baseball hat- not to mention how cute and fun they are! Great colors, patterns, and sizes! Check out some of Finigan Fundamental's favorites, all done by Three Bird Nest  (can also be found on etsy.com). And best yet- all for under $30!!!

"Turban Headband Striped Stretchy Head" for only $17 in the silver and $18 in the gold.Very complimenting colors, casual yet still a great way to spruce up an outfit! I love both the dark gold (which seems to me as almost a brown) as well as the silver mixed with the white/cream colored stripes. Very soft and easy to pair up with any outfit! The thickness of it, with the twist in the front makes this headband very cute!

"Neon Fluorescent Headband Turband Twist" for $18. Very fun pop of color, with the twist design towards the side in the front. Simple yet very bold. Comes in other fluorescent colors, such as orange. 

"Turban Stretchy Workout Headband Two Color Minty Aqua & Lavender Black Scribble" for $18. I love all the cool colors here, mixed together on the right side- with the solid "minty aqua" on the left side of the headband. Great contrast, separated by a front twist. Love this headband- very fun!

"Lavender Floral Chiffon Stretchy Wide Headband" for $26. This soft headband is the perfect touch for your fall outfit this season! The soft cream with lavender small flowers are a great feminine touch to any outfit. The stretchy chiffon material makes this headband elegantly fabulous!

"Cranberry Red Lace Headband Stretchy" for $12. I am in love with the boldness of the cranberry red, paired with the softness of the sheer lace material. Absolutely stunning. The clashing of the bold color with the soft material makes this headband one of our favorites! 

"Teal Headband Scarf with Flower" for $16. This is one of my favorites. I love the colors and the pattern, I love the scarf material and extra wide headband style, and I absolutely love the flower decoration. The flower is big, yet follows the same pattern of the rest of the headband- keeping it from being overwhelming. Great hair piece!! 

"Lace Trimmed Jersey Headband Head Wrap" for $16. Also available in other colors (also in aqua, mocha, green, grey, dark coral, etc), this simple headband is gorgeous and a great accessory to pair with almost any outfit. With a variety of colors, mixed with the uniqueness of the lace trim,  Finigan's Fundamentals' fell in love with this head wrap! One of our must haves!!
